Multi Engine

Our multi-engine course is specifically developed to help transition to commercial operations. In addition to gaining proficiency with multi-enigne systems and procedures, you will learn to demonstrate maneuvers to Part 121 flows, profiles and callouts.

Training is conducted in our late model Piper Seminole, one of the safest and most efficient twin training aircraft in the world. Equipped with modern avionics including dual GPS and HSI, this is a perfect platform to expand your experience and prepare you for commercial operations.

This course is divided into two stages:

Stage 1 - VFR Maneuvers

The first stage introduces multi-engine systems and procedures. You will learn flow patterns to use for normal and abnormal procedures supplemented by checklist management. This stage focuses on visual maneuvers and profiles.

Stage 2 - IFR Maneuvers

The second stage applies instrument profiles to multi engine aircraft. All flights are conducted as Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) scenarios to ensure successful transitioning to Part 135 or Part 121 operations.

This sheet itemizes the approximate costs associated with obtaining a Multi Engine Rating. However, costs vary greatly due to individual needs, past experience and learning styles. We provide many free training resources throughout our syllabus because our goal is to make training as affordable and efficient as possible.

Oral and flight evaluation with FAA Designated Examiner

*The best way to reduce training cost is to take ownership of your training process and use the airplane and instructor time efficiently. Through self-study and preparing for each lesson the instructor can focus on practical application of your knowledge.
